Car = 2001 CL Type S.

I've seen other posts and I understand that there may be a TSB. However, I was unable to locate the TSB on this.

The short version is that the bottom part of the seat back has separated from the seat itself.

Is there an easy DIY fix? I'm out of warranty.

Seat backs are usually clipped on or sewn as one piece with the front. If it is the very bottom they are held to a pole with special metal hooks and can be replaced with small tie-straps. In any case you'll probably have to remove the seat.

Have fun. I personally hate seat work.
