Passanger Seat Warmer Not Working

So I just realized after owning the car for 6 months that the passanger side seat warmer does not work! I mean how often do you sit on the other side if you own the car? All the plugs underneath the seat are plugged in... could I have blown a fuse for the seat warmer to the passanger side? If so where is the fuse panel? What else could I troubleshoot to fix this issue?

thanks.

9 times out of 10 the heating element has a broken wire. To fix it, you'd have to remove the seat leather, find where the broken element wire is (look for a burnt spot on the seat foam, then solder the two wires back together.

You could try swapping the heater switches but I doubt it's the problem.

Do a search and you'll find a DIY on how to fix it.

just forget about that seat heater and tell the passenger that their body is the seat heater and to where a jacket
but yeah like what the others said about it being the element in case you want to try and repair it
and i did my driver seat this past week, both the back and seat didn't work, and both had the elements burnned out which had a nice char spot on them (Thank god that material around it is proably flame resistent or there proably be ALOT of burnned cars)

Thanks! I guess I'll be looking for that "char spot".

I just read up the "DIY" on the repair... and I just realized on the passanger seat the seat and the back doesn't heat up. Could it be a fuse? if so where is the fuse located for the seat warmer? I checked the connections and they were good. I want to troubleshoot it a little more before I take the seats out of the car and etc...

check to see if you got power and ground (with switch on)at the seat heater from underneth the seat, just follow the wiring from the back of the seat (should be right next to one of the hinges) (also do NOT/MESS touch the YELLOW ONE unless you have properly disabled the side airbag)
BTW: i think the heater element might be the same shitty one for the driver side, they just don't break as often cause they are not used that much

if you've never gone messing with the wires before, its gonna be the heating element. Its pretty common now and mines been broken since i got it.
