P0325 03 cl-s
My gf's CL has a check engine light for the knock sensor P0325. Is this a common problem? I thought this was a little strange for a car that has never been modded.
The problems that I've run into now, is that no one has intake manifold gaskets in stock and I don't have a service manual to give me torque specs for reinstalling the IM. Can gaskets normally these be reused? She's got around 74k odometer.
Also if someone would be able to give me the sequence and torque specs from their FSM I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Why would you need IM gaskets? If the knock sensor is bad that's an external part.
1st clear the code, then disconnect the battery for 5 minutes then reconnect. Drive a few miles if the light comes on again & it's the same code either the sensor or wiring has a problem. If it doesn't come back then the car is ok. A lot of times these cars throw codes for odd reasons or conditions, then go away.
