Oil Question (urgent)

Guys , I need a help of advice here . I import my car to Mexico city 6 month ago . The only one ih whole 24 million city ( feels great ) but i didnt do the oil change for whole year and it is already 12 000 miles from the last oil change( I do use castrol syntetic but the oil available here in mexico is nexol (Non Syntetic , Castrol 20W50 ) or 5W50 Syntetic fully Castrol. Is that ok if ill swich from syntetic to non syntetic? Is the 20W50 is safe?

You can, but I wouldn't. Switching from regular to synthetic is ok, but once you use synthetic, you should stick to it.

It does not matter. You can switch back and forth as many times as you want. You can even mix dino and syn together in the same oil change.

You don't have a WM to get SuperTech fully synthetic 5W30? Good oil and cheap for synth.

Better than nothing, but my 2001 owner's manual says only 5W30 or 10W30. Newer Hondas call for 5W20 I believe (but that's really just for better MPGs). But no reason to panic.

Look harder! What did WM have? I'm surprised you couldn't at least find a 5W40 or 10W40 with all the VWs around.

Thank´s for all the help and Info. I didnt look in WM couse it is far away from my area . The engine works fine and I think that 10W50 is good for the warmer weather . At the end Im happy ) Imagine having only CLS in the city with 24 million people. It looks so cool and unique . Any way thaks again for all the time and help .
