With the big help of Jake(Moneypit)I have completed the j32a2 auto motor mated with the j32a2 manual tranny using richies harness in my 2002 accord. Everything except the temperature guage is functioning. Which is weird because the richies diagram never told me to touch the ECT wires. I was looking around yesterday and I saw that there was a tiny cut on both of the wires and may have made contact(13). I have replaced (14) from my original motor just incase that was bad. Are there any other water temp sensors other then 13 and 14? and what are their jobs?


The top and bottom rad hoses feel hot or around the same temperature so the thermostat opens up. The fans kick on so it is getting the temp reading from somewhere. And I am allowed to hit vtec, so that means the computer knows that it is warm?
