In Need Of Tranny Fluid - Help!

Hello,

I have an 01 CL and I am trying to change the fluid. I have searched what fluid to use on google and threads have popped up from here and other places. Some people use oem, some people don't. Some of the threads were a few years old, some more recent. The older threads people were talking about the oem. Newer threads people were talking about how you can not get it or maybe there is a new version? and you use Redline? Also, there is the 3x3 flush. So I guess I have to buy 9 quarts then correct? First three flush, second three flush, last three keep in the tranny right?

And if there is a new oem fluid, what is the part #?

Overall I am just a bit confused, so I started my own thread

THANKS

This part is correct about the 3x3.

The new Honda/Acura ATF is called DW-1. You can ask for it at your nearest Honda/Acura dealer.
