Need some help

I started up my car today and it started to idle like a go-cart(put-put-put-put). I then got out and noticed a terrible smell. I then turned it off and checked all the fluid levels. The levels were all good. Im not sure what is wrong, any ideas??

Thanks,

-Chris

exhaust leak. Probably at the J-Pipe before the cat. Thats where the bad smell comes from and the put-put sound/idle.

Sounds like someone stole your engine and replaced it with a weed wacker

Pull the valve covers off. It sounds like valve train. Possibly broken rockers. If not your vavles are WAAAAAAAY off.

It could possibly be a spun rod bearing too. Change your oil, look for metal shavings.

Point blank - that noise ain't normal and I wouldnt drive it like that.
