okay people read this... 01 CL-S w/navi, battery was disconnected for a while replaced the battery. Entered the radio code from the book no problem, entered the code for the navi... "incorrect pin" is displayed. I have the 4 digit code that came with the manual. The code is the same as on the side of the glove box. i've called Acura customer service and they gave me the same 4 digit code that i've used.

i've searched this site for this problem haven't found it. If it's posted somewhere redirect me.

Problem resolved... i was about to remove the navi unit from the trunk. You'll won't believe this but there was a label placed dead centered on the rack with the b number and the 4 digit code. pure luck. this code is different than the one that's on the card and on the glove box.

 

Is that the same PIN it asks for when you are trying to programm it to keep your home address "on file?"

 

Dredd, no, this is a manufactures code for unlocking the navi and/or radio after losing battery power. your "PIN" no# is your 4 digit access no# for security.

 

Thanks. How would I get or reset the PIN? The previous owner of my car did not know it anymore when I bought the car.
