Hello everyone...I do have a question, however I do have a recomandation for those who look for a basic way to improve the performance.

I drove my 01CLS for couple of months on a regular oil, and guess what?...it drove like shit..I was so disaapointed..how could a 260h run so weak..Until I changed to a Syntetic oil...totally different ride...

Anyhow I thought that for those new members it may give some key point...those little things sometimes makes a big difference


Now my question is for those more qualified in the bussiness of CL:
1st When I start my car on the morning obviously the engine runs on higher rpms, however it does run unequal..it doesnt show on rpms of unequal mode..but you can fell by the exaust and the engine sound

2 Ocassionally when start the car, I put into drive and I want to accelerate the car hesitates..it will only happen once, only when first move the car, after it will never occure again during the trip

3. When the temperature outside is hot, obviously the car gets tougher air, and it runs worse...but my it drives terrible. It fells like , the mixture is not right, either the air, or the fuel..

What had been changed so far:
- air filter..the old one was nusty, filled with dirt
- sparkplugs
- catalic converter
- egr valve
- o2 sensor
- syntetic oil
- cleaned the fuel injector by adding formulas


Oh I remember another symptom..under the hood when you accelerate when rpms drops to normal after acceration,,you can hear weird noise of air sucked.. like I would have a mini K&N filter, but I dont


If you have any ideas to fix the problem I please you ..I know in the past I had few guys from the forum that were exremly helpful...I appreciate...when you come to Toronto I buy the beer

Would exaust system have any influence on the issue?
