just bought a CL
Hi ppl. i just bought a 2001 cl type s. i was wondering what i should look out for and do. its an auto with 116k. i waswondering about a few things.
i only have the key i didnt get a keyles entry key pad so i need to get one and have it programed
i cant find the button to turn on the fog lights
the rearview mirror is all cloudy
two front tires are kinda bald so i need new ones . tire sze seemed like an odd size but i confirmed it in teh door sticker there factory.
power steering pump has a slight wine to it
i was considering lowering springs
my location is long island 11701 if any other ppl are around

You didnt really ask any questions but I will address a couple of issues you are having.
The "fog lights" are really called road lamps. They will turn on when you tuen on your headlights. If they still don't light up then try changing the bulbs. I believe they are 194s.
You will also need a new rear view mirror, there is no way to fix it. I suggest going to Curry Acura or their website. They have discounted prices and free shipping.

*Rear view mirror lost seal on its auto dimm liquid. Get a new one or you can split open the mirror glass, clean it and have it nice and clear - just without auto dimm function.
*If you have only one key - get a spare . Loosing it may cost you tow to a dealer and ECM reprogramm .
*PS pumps tend to whine if belt is overtightened and if other than honda fluid is used. Check that before you replace it.
