So when I'm sitting in traffic or in a drive through, and the engine is starting to heat up and the idle starts going up and up and idle's at about 2-2.5k. I've replaced my IAC and PSV<<(un-related problem) still it does it. I got the Mugen cap and Redline water wetter and it helped a bit.... Is this normal? Should I go and do the full cooling mod.

It only idles at about 2k now (before it when to 4k....)

The engine temp guage never goes above half.....

I live in Calgary and the weather is only about 80 F (30 C) right now

Idle does not bob or anything is just goes up and stays up.

It likes to do it after a race too....

Please help this is getting really anoying and the weather is getting hotter...

If your dumby gauge isn't going above halfway, then it really isn't overheating.

So does anyone else have this problem? Is it a problem?
