Find the factory 12V power, that has to be connected to the ballast. The other wires that come out of the ballast go to the igniter/bulb, that's it!

just take the plug going into the ballast and connect that to aftermarket HID wiring.

Get a 12 volt test light and find the hot wire going to the headlights by turning them on at the dash. The wire comes out of the loom in the headlight area. Once you find 12 volts, that powers the ballast and the ballast powers the headlights. You will be by passing the factory ballast. If it is still there you can ignore it.
