2001 3.2CL - The driver's seat can recline, move up and down, but it won't move forward or backward. Thank God I have it in an 'ok' position, otherwise I'll be cramping!
I changed the fuse but still no changes. I don't hear the motor at all.

 

Sounds like the motor,I say take it to the dealer.My motor went on me and costs almost $500 bucks but I was covered by my extended warrentee

 

Remove the seat (4 bolts) and check for loose connectors.

 

I had the same problem, I took off the plastic cover, put a flat head screwdriver on the exposed teeth oif the gear, whacked it with a hammer to get the gear moving manually, since my seat was too awkwardly stuck, and low and behold it was fixed. don't know why, but it worked. try to manually move the motor or gear, that might work.
