yesterday i was on the onramp to the freeway and when i got on the freeway going about 30 i gas it the rpm goes to 7k and the car does not move it was like it was on neutral. what does this mean is my car going to crap out? 01CLS

sadly to say i just hit 150k

 

The transmission is dying. If you're at 150,000 miles then that's an acceptable mileage for an automatic transmission to last and Acura probably will not help you, so I hope you have a couple thousand for a repair.

Your tranny is on its way out. Mine has been doing that once in awhile for 15k miles now. I'm at 42k right now and my torque converter just failed according to the CEL.

That really sucks you should go to the junk yard here in Sacramento, California they have hella Acura CL-S or CL with good tranny's
