my passenger side headlight is acting up....when i first turn on the headlights it flickers a few times....but other than that it stays off all other times.....does anyone know why, do i just need a new HID bulb?

 

Sounds like it's not the bulb. Maybe the inverter.

 

mine did that the first time it went out....dealer replaced bulb and inverter under warranty

just had the headlight go out again (2 years) and dealer replaced bulb and inverter again.

 

thanks guys, well just had the bulb replaced, works fine now, just need to figure out how to adjutst the bulb to make it point higher, but yeah turns out it was the bulb

 

hold up a min....mines startin to act up. the passenger side too. it will turn on fine. but on occasion...(just sometimes) after like 10 minutes or soo it will go out...but if i flick them off, and then back on, it works fine...whats up with that? is it wearing out, or just getting too hot?

 

hmm that i dont kno about, mine when i initially turn on the lights, it flickers for like .5 seconds and then stays off so i naturally thought it was the bulb, which it turned out to be so.......an idea to test it out....take the bulb from the driver side and put it in the passenger side and see if it works....that'll tell u at least if its the bulb or a bigger problem
