My 03 cl type-s manual had not been driven for the past year up until a few weeks ago. Upon getting everything running again I realized my passenger headlight wasn't working. I've noticed that the passenger HID bulb flickers a bit as if it wants to turn on, I've even had it turn on for a few seconds. I tried replacing the bulb and checking the connections to no avail. Any suggestions? The dealership told me it could be the inverter? (about 500 just for the part)

 

From the little I've been on here and read; that sounds about right. Ballast & igniter are your problem. Check online, you can find it a little cheaper, but it's still going to run you a couple hundred!

 

Its deff the ballast i had 2 go bad and 2 stolen in the 9 years i owned this car.
I would call local junk yards i bought 2 headlight casings (one was cracked) 2 ballasts and all bulbs (included both HID bulbs) for $200 + $50 shipping from a junk yard in Texas.
Call the junk yard dude thats what I do whenever something goes wrong and it save me TONS of money!
