OK, I may have made a mistake last night.
Late last night I ordered off eBay a:

OBD2 HONDA/ACURA HIM HDS Diagnostic Tool System HDS

Now I am questioning myself that I may have bought a piece of junk.
I would rather invest in a good tool, but am also forced to be on the frugal side.
Does anyone have any experience with this diagnostic tool?
What is your opinion / advice?

’01 CL-S Auto 151,xxx my symptoms are exactly like the IACV doing bad (idle surge).
However, after swapping out the IACV, I still have the same problem.
The stealership says “we THINK it is the ECM, we are not getting any good output from the ECM. To change it out will be $1,250 plus tax & labor ~$1,500. I told them I will take the car back as is and figure it out myself.
This also happened about four months after changing out the throttle body because “the TPS is bad.”
