ok so it wont illuminate when i turn my headlgihts all the way on, but the i turn the parking lights on it will light back up..

ok step by step here so i wont confuse anyone

1) turn the car on
2)turn lights to ACC and i can see my sports shifter numbers and mileage and all
3) turn my headlights all the way on, sports shifter lighting goes away and no illumination

checked the number 9 fuse, it was not blown, what is my problem
