Fuel Cut off in overdrive
While driving on the highway appx 60mph, I started a passing move to a truck and had a fuel cutoff at appx 5700 rpm after down shifting, and only could obtain the shift up, by reducing the gas pedal and 'kicking' it back. It is happening all the time at dif speeds (30,40 60, 70). Is this a sign of a trany going bad, or does is it supposed to happen that way?
did you have a check engine light come on or start flashing? did the car start just straight lose all power or was it more of an intermittent type of thing like a misfire? or are you saying your transmission just started slipping? just trying to get an idea...
