Front Driver seat does not recline or move forward/backward

Front Driver seat does not recline or move forward/backward
Hello guys,
So this happen a while ago, and just to let you know exactly what happen is the process.
The first time the seat stopped working it COULD still recline but COULDNT move forward or backward, then i played around with the memory buttons the door panel thats when it completely stopped moving,
Now the seat is stuck, pretty close to the steering wheel. I have checked all the fuses, i even took the whole seat out to manually turn the gears by hand ( not sure if i did it right) but it did not budge. I even tried another switch.
when i did this i think it was the recliner but not the other gears that moves the seat back and forward. Im assuming its under the seat. Well anyways, the car was taken to a shop and they told me that it needed a power control module or something, price out to be $300 just on parts. I did some research and i found this part called the UCS unit. im thinking thats what i need to make the seat work again. Now when you put the seat to fold over it slides up fine, and put it back seat back, it slides back into the same exact position it was in.
Please help.
