flashing D5 light and speedo works so how long before trans detonation?
last night i started my car up to go home from my friends and the D5 light was flashing even before I moved the car. I drove it and it appeared to be fine other than the usual lumpy shifting....get to a stop sign and I turn the car off and restart and the light has not returned since.......

flashing light returned sunday morning. from what I can gather it may be something simple like a trans temp sensor? does anyone in here know?

well acura pulled the code p1709.....new trans...........should get the car back today........
