Exclamation EVil VSA?

So I've had this 2001 CL-S AT w/35k on it for about a month now. When I first picked it up it was raining and although I didn't drive fast or make any erratic moves the VSA kicked in a couple of times and scared the shyt out of me. I blamed it on the rain., blah blah blah.

Yesterday, I'm driving and it had rained earlier so the expressway is kind of damp in some areas but the majority of it is dry and out of no where VSA kicks in violently and snatches the car to the right while I'm going around a curve. Needless to say I am pissed and trying not to be frightened. So I look in the rearview mirror to see if I had hit something in the road or if there was a damp spot and I saw neither. I decide to take it from 70mph to 60mph. The next time I am on a straight dry stretch of road and while doing 60mph it does it again WTF!

Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so what was the cause/remedy? I am leaning towards it being the tires because they need to be replaced. Could they be the culprit?

So, today its raining and I turn VSA off. I'm doing my 44 mile trip to work and didnt have a hiccup. I decided to turn on VSA and mash the accelerator and the light comes on and they car takes off in a straight line, no snatching. I go around a curve and nothing happens so the problem seems to be intermittent. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Before I realized that I could turn it off it happened about 4 or 5 times and I've barely had the car for a month. It could have really been deadly had I been in some serious traffic or making a quick maneuver. Now I just try and remember to disable it before taking off. I called Acura to see if it was covered in a recall but it wasnt. I am just going to buy an extended warranty to cover my ass.

part number for yaw is 39960-S0A-003, and its pretty expensive about 400. Replacement takes about 1hr. unit is located behind passanger side rear bench seat right in the corner. u need to take out bottom and upright cushion and its right there .you may also access it from trunk side but its harder
