Engine Trouble Code P1457 - Engine Performance

My check engine light came on a couple weeks ago after I had some maintenance done on the car. I took the car to Autozone and found out I threw a P1457 trouble code, which means "EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System)".

I searched the forums and found this thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-problems-fixes-70/code-p1457-leak-evap-system-825823/). It looks to me like there could be 3 parts that are bad, some kind of purge valve, EVAP Canister Shut Valve,or
Canister Purge Solenid - Vent Control Solenid. I'm really not sure what part(s) exactly could be the culprit, but I intend to call my Acura stealership and see what they recommend.

My big question is, what kind of leak is this, and can it affect engine performance or damage my vehicle? This may just be my imagination but it seems like ever since I threw this code the engine just isn't quite as responsive or powerful as it should be.

It is possibly the fuel cap. Make sure it's tight and/or replace it with a new one.

I'm pretty sure the fuel cap leak is the P1456 "EVAP System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank System)". I've already tightened the cap during fill ups many times now, and yes I have been refilling it to full. And no, I don't "top it off" either. That's just a waste of time.
