I have an 01 type s with 64000 miles on it. my engine mounts are broken and i remember someone posting a tsb or a warranty update about them. any truth to it???

 

Some people have managed to have their engine mounts replaced for free when their transmission goes...but other than that I haven't heard of a TSB or warranty update.

FYI: stock mounts are crap and have a tendency to give with not too many miles.

 

Here is the TSB for the front engine mount:

With that many miles and that old, no way the dealer will do it for free. Buy them yourself and install them. It's fairly easy to do.

acuraoemparts.com usually has good prices, but,

JuniorBean is who I usually get my big ticket OEM parts from, he generally has the best prices and is easy to get in contact with.

You could always get the Innovative Mounts from Excelerate when they fix the issue some people have been having with them. For the record, mine have been pretty good, I'd never go back to stock, the innovative mounts make the car a lot more fun to drive.
