i recently bought an 03 cl-s 6-speed . when racing with a jetta i missed shifted from third to second instead of forth . the car was fine untill the next day. sitting at the light i have engine check light up. checked the codes it was cylinder 2,3,4,5,6 misfire . engine overspeed and some other one that my friend said only comes on diesels.

not good, over-rev can lead to bent valves, which will explain the misfire codes. These engines are high compression so any RPM's over what honda designed the valve train to handle can mean big trouble.
