Does anyone know the seat operating system?
My seat would not go forward or backward. The front up and down did not work. You could hear relays click but no movement.The rear up and down worked and so did the recline. A mechanic checked it out and tested the motors and said they all work. He said the switches were good too. He told me the controller box was bad.
My seat covers were in bad shape, too so I found another seat at a scrap yard. Everything worked.

I got the "new" seat in the car and it has the same problem. I didn't exchange any parts.

What could cause the forward and back motor and the front up/down not to work on two different seats? Could a fuse be blown? Wiring?
