Dielectric grease on spark plug???

Hello.

I have a white tube showed "Dielectrical grease". I put the cream into the spartk plug boots to improve connectivities between plugs and boots. How does it work exactly? It looks like white cream. Does it work for spark plugs and boots right?

Also there are another tube "dielectric silicone compound" in the garage. Could you explain it to me if you know?

Thanks.

You just put a pinch on the Coil pack that touches the plug.
Just use a pinch i think it helps connectivity I used it when replacing my plugs!

Putting grease on spark plug contacts is pretty much old school. Old style cables and plugs were often exposed to factors like dirt and moisture due to design. Our coil packs sitting directly up on the top of spark plugs - deep inside valve cover , protect them so well that whole idea of grasing anything there is simply pointles. Doing it wont hurt anything.... but.... Dielectric compound does not conduct electricity - it is an insulator! , so I do not think you want to insulate contact between your spark and c-pack.
