Debadging now

I know there are other threads about de-badging your car but there isn't one that is that new for the cl. I want to de-badge my '01 cl leaving just the "A"... I have a night black pearl and all the badges are still on it. Is this a good idea or will the paint be to faded to do it by now? Or is there a way to get that fading outline out so it is all a uniform color? Thanks!

if you have a heatgun , use that, its the cleanest way and scrape off with plastic razor blade, if not use 3m adhesive remover. then clean area, polish and wax, do your whole car while your at it

It depends on the condition of the paint. Its 11 years old now, so I wouldnt be surprised if the paint has faded a bit.
