My '03 's dash readout started to act up by giving low temp. readouts. Now upon starting all I get is three bars. I suspect the sensor mounted in front of radiator is the culprit. Anyone have similar experience?

 

I haven't had your problem, but my outside temp guage has never worked properly when the outside temp is HOT, like 95+ degrees. When it's hot outside, the temp guage shows 79 degress and never moves a degree. At the end of the 3-year warranty the dealer fiddled with it and said they replaced the sensor, but it never registers correctly when it's hot, so I've given up. If I ever sell the car, I'll make sure I sell it when it's not over 85 degrees.

 

almost sounds like it is not calibrated properly...........i'd make the dealer fix it. my guage is usually within 2 degrees of the outside temp
