Dash lit up and car shaking

Hey fellas I've recently had a problem with my 01 Acura cl-s.The car was being driven when it started shaking and then my whole dash lit up.Drove the car home and turned it off. When I turned it back on it was idling like normal the only thing was my check engine light was still on.Anyone ever came across a problem like this?Any help would be appreciated. Car has 141000 miles by the way.

Cruise over to Autozone. Pull that code and see what happened. It's free.

Check for Misfires. Could be your Coilpacks or spark plugs.. Start your car... let it run.. and pull your coilpacks out one by one. and when you are pulling them the car may shake more once one is pulled. if you pull one and the car does not shake or the vibration of the motor do not change or get worse then you probably have found the culprit...

Pull the CEL code with a code reader and we can start from there.
