My car doors were locked, and my kids were in the car pulling on the door open.....next thing I know that damn alarm starts going off.

My remote doesnt do a damn thing. The red light comes on and off when I press the buttons, but the damn panic button wont make the audible sound stop. And yes, the battery is new. I removed the fuse from under the hood, and now the damn car wont start.

This has been one hell of a week!!!

Can anyone help me?

You don't press the panic button to disarm the alarm system. You need to press the unlock button.

 

After NOT listening to two women who knew the answer, I then called a friend of mine(guy), and he told me to unlock the car with my key....

DUH!!!!

This is how a bad week ends......lol

 

The Alarm module is underneath the passengers seat. Roll the seat forward and look underneath with a flashlight. Disconnect all the wires that go to it and reconnect them. This will reset that alarm system just in case if it's malfunctioning. But Pure Adrenaline is right you have to push the unlock button on the remote to disarm the alarm.

 

I was messing with my car this morning. I was messing with the remote cause it dosent work half the time. I set the alarm off with the panic button; I used the key lik eevery other car to shut it off and it didnt work. I couldnt get it to turn off with the key till I started the car. Whats up with that???

Why yes I did. The remote acts sporadically. I changed the battery the other day. I think I just need a new remote.
