Comptech SC tuning software???

I am installing a Comptech SC and an AEM Methanol Injection kit on my 03 CLS 6speed. I have a AEM F/IC with it.

A somewhat local tuner told me he will not work with the F/IC due to "annoying issues".

Any recommendations on different software to use? Whats the best as far as reliability and ease of use?

I've been looking into any piggyback systems or standalone systems as well. A shop out of Denver that does amazing work told me just yesterday that with the TL or CL Type S motors&ECUs, you're SOL. Basically you need to tweak the fuel system and let the factory ECU do its job. The AEM FI/C won't do what you're looking for. It's been known to have its issues with the honda/acura four cylinders as well even though AEM hypes it up as the cure to newer OBDII cars. I wish you luck and know that the CT SC kits will come with everything needed to make the car run correctly. The additional methanol injection kit is a good addition to keep from detonating as well.

The emanage blue works for s/c guys well. Will you be running the high boost pulley?

If you're running the stock pulley, you don't need a piggy back. The ECM hides boost from the ECU, and the FPR is already calibrated for the s/c.

I believe the pulley is for 5-6lbs?? I dont want to run anymore than that as it is my daily driver. When you say ECM your talking the plug and play module that comes with s/c?? Im sorry this whole Jseries stuff is very new to me so plesae excuse any stupid questions! Also what does FPR stand for?

Thanks

Ya i think that's what it's called...ECM? The little box that you wire in.

I'm not sure but i think you would need some tuning (emanage-blue) if you're running the meth kit. You'll want to make sure your air/fuel (a/f) is where you want it. You should see more power with the meth kit.

Just spoke with ptuning out of virginia. He said they can tune it with just the AEM F/IC however they prefer the F/IC ultimate. He said the comptech ESM box is not necessary as it is just a basic map that wont help when adding the Meth injection.

Anyone ever deal with Ptuning out of virginia???

ya if you have additional tuning you don't need the ECM. It just hides boost, which the piggyback will do.
