Clock backlight on dash

Hello there, I just brought a used 3.2CL Type S and the clock light doesnt come on at night. I tried to take the dash panel off that it is on. I could pull it all the way out to get to back of clock to change light. How do I do this? Any help? I asked the acura dealer, but they wont show me the detail pictures on how to take the dash apart and where to pull and unconnect things to get to back of clock to change light.

Thanks
mike

Theres 2 screws in front of the speedo under the dash part that shields the speedo. remove that along with the steering column cover. then start pulling the the edges. I would start near the AC control.

Theres detailed pictures on here, check the FAQ thread.

im pretty sure radio shack carries the bulb but i doubt it includes base for the bulb? For the $3 you would save from the dealership wouldnt be worth my time to untwine the old bulb from the base rewrap the new bulb. Thats just my $.02 <- no pun intended

Pretty simple took me about 10 minutes to do the entire process from taking off the cover to putting it back on

Radio Shack bulb part number is 272-1092...also you could use a slightly bigger bulb if they have one in stock
