CEL flashed about 3 times last night

CEL flashed about 3 times last night
I was taking off from a stoplight and it was a little rainy last night. I was driving a little spirited and my tires broke loose in 2nd gear. RPMs didn't go above probably 5500, but my CEL flashed about 3 times then went away. Any ideas? Car is an 03 six speed, 62k miles. Just changed the oil about 1500 miles ago. No other problems that I know of. Hasn't come on since

Autozone says that they cannot retrieve any codes unless the light is still lit. Do I have to short the pins and get the code myself? Anyone experience this themselves?
NORMAL. This happens when you loose traction. The ECU sees misfires codes because the front wheels are slipping. Even though it's not a real misfire. There will be no stored code.
