Hello to you all. I have had my 2001 3.2CL since 2008 and i absolutely still love this car. I have had a problem the last few days. The car will run okay for a few minutes and then start revving but not really going anywhere. Issue gets worse when i stop the car and then start driving again. It has difficulty really taking off especially in steep areas going uphill. The car will not go over 40 miles no matter how hard i step on the gas. Just pure revving but crappy acceleration. Can anyone help? Of course there is a engine light.

Chances are it's either TPS (throttle position sensor) or your transmission is dying...

Codes were p0301, p0302, p0305, p0306, p0420 (for the converter). Dealership quoted me $3000 for repairs. I took it to my mechanic and it just ended up being the catalyst converter. Thing was too old. Cost me $372 for a new one and replacement but i am just glad all the codes are cleaned up. Thanks for the reply.
