Car shakes when braking at 55+ MPH

Car shakes when braking at 55+ MPH
I've noticed that whenever I brake when going faster than 55 MPH, the car shakes and isn't smooth at all, even when compared to my mom's '00 civic. Is this due to warped rotors or something else?

The rotors were warped. I replaced the 4 of them.
You may also have bent wheels. Do a runout test & out of round test using a magnetic base stand & a dial indicator.
