Bird crap!

Can anyone recommend a good wax/cleaner to remove the stains from bird crap? My car is black and I've tried several waxes to get rid of the blemish on the paint but nothing has removed everything so far. I'm sure I'm the only person to know the blemish is there, but it still bothers me. I am doing everything by hand, would a buffer make a difference? Thanks for any info.

Have you tried polishing it out?

Does it look like little tiny bubbles in the paint? Please describe more.

Use Meguiar's Scratch-X or a clay bar.

I wouldn't say they look like bubbles, just a slight discoloration or stain. I don't know exactly how to describe it... I've tried a couple different kinds of Turtle Wax, Zymol, and a Meguiars wax but not polish. If I use a polish would I need to use a buffing machine, or would by hand probably be good enough? Has anyone used Malm's products? I'm going back quite a few years now, but I used to use them on my old black Monte Carlo SS and they worked quite well.

Wax isn't going to do anything, you need a rubbing compound. I would say it's beyond polish as well. I know the stains you are referring to and you'll need to use a rubbing compound such as Scratch-X.

try wet sanding lightly with 1500 grit or finer, then buffing. Many times it eats too far into the finish and can only be fixed by refinishing.
