battery drained by a viper 5900 remote start intsalled incorrectly??

has anyone ever encountered any problems with their battery being drained due to an incorrect remote start installation? or just having the system period(correctly installed)?

anyone have a viper 5900 remote starter installed into their 01 cls? and does the parking lights flash constantly(until the brake is pressed) when the remote starter is activated?

also... wondering if i should get a backup battery installed in my trunk... good idea? bad idea???? FUCK! my cars down!!!!

i got a hornet (same company) and i dont have problem with it. when i remote start it the hazards will blink and then stay on till the time is up or the brake is hit. do u have a system in the back or something for the battery if not i dont see why you will need it.

I've had Viper remote starts before. They have all flashed the parking lights while in remote start. So that's normal. You can get it programed to not do it.
For the battery drain, your going to have to track down that. I never had that happen.
