Any 1 Know What To Do When Iac Go Bad
anyone know what to do when the IAC idle air controller goes bad?...can you replace just the IAC or must buy whole TB from acura.? cost wise, is there any cheap places that this community buys from? ive tried searching but to no sucess..
Since you're going to take it apart anyway, you might as well just try cleaning the old one. It's not hard, once everything's apart. The IAC valve can be bought from the dealer for about $80 if I remember right, so you should be able to get it from an OEM wholesaler cheaper. I don't know. I haven't actually done it. I sweet-talked the stealership into goodwilling me a new IAC valve, and now it idles great.
darn it ,i went to the dealership and they want $172.00 for a brand new one..ouch thats a huge chunk change for that tiny itty bitty thing..mmmm i guess i have to garage the car till i can find 1 cheap ..unless i can find some 1 with a used or even a cheaper 1 somewhere
