Alarm is messed up

I took my car to the mechanic to get new tires. When I got it back the alarm would start going off when I exit the car. It doesnt do it all the time. 1 out of every 8 times or so

Any Ideas

Describe exactly what causes the alarm to go off
Is this an aftermarket alarm?

Its not after market
I dont think it the door pin because the alarm is not set

What happens:

I stop the car
turn it off
and the alarm goes off

also today I walk up to it and the alarm just started going off it had been sitting for about 2 hours

I dont Know if this has anything to do with it but when im cleaning the car and walking around it, it will randomly lock the doors

Im thinking my remote is F'ed up ??

I wasn't aware our cars had auto lock unless you start driving. If you have an aftermarket alarm, get the oem key and turn the alarm off with that.

My oem alarm goes off if I use my clifford and accidentally try to lock it with the door not fully shut. I just use the oem key then the clifford key to shut it off. Iono its weird haha
