I have a 2003 CL Type S with a fairly odd problem. A few days ago my air conditioner and fan went out while I was driving the car, this lasted a few seconds then the SRS light came on and the air conditioner started working again. Yesterday, my air conditioner and fan went out again and it's still not working. I'm thinking it's electrical but can't really find the fuse that controls the air conditioner and fan. Has anyone else had this problem with their car and if so, what was the cause? I haven't really had any issues with the car and would hate to be robbed by the dealers...

Just to clarify, no air flows whatsoever in my car...

 

I think the fuse/relay for that is under the hood.

 

The same thing happened to me two days ago. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

 

there is a tsb out about the fan needing a wiring harness extension cause it is too tight from the factory (cause it quits working)

 

I checked all of the fuses and the relays associated with the A/C and blower. Everything checked out. Unplugged the blower and hooked it up to external power and it worked fine. Finally took it in to the Acura guys. They said it was a transistor near the blower that needed to be replaced. It cost about $130 for parts and labor. It fixed both issues.
