2001 Acura 3.2CL

Hey all, I have searched this forum and others up and down for the answer to my issues to no avail. Here is the situation: I first got an O2 error code and replaced it. As soon as I did, I received an EGR code. So I pulled the top plate, and it was totally clogged, so I cleaned it and replaced the EGR, new gasket for both etc., etc. The car now has an intermitant accelleration issue. When you first depress the gas pedal, nothing happens, engine just stays at idle. no sputtering, then will all of a sudden shoot off like a bat outta hell. I am pulling my hair out as its not throwing any codes and nothing I do seems to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Also, the car ran perfectly before I changed anything. So this issue is an after-the-fact issue that surfaced after the repairs I made due to codes appearing.

 

Another thing, this issue started after I installed the O2 sensor.

 

looks like ur TPS is not reading right. did you mess with that at all? 02 sensor has nothing to do with this acceleration problem. EGR, I cant really tell if that's causing this.

check for loose connectors, what ever you had disconnected.

 

I was thinking TPS as well, but I have disconnected and reconnected, made sure all connections were good. All is well. But still does it and its very dangerous having the car like this. Is the TPS adjustable on the 2001 3.2CL or replaceable?
