AC Problem
My 03 CL's AC does not work. I thought it was the charge, which it was low but it didn't fix the problem. It has a good charge now but it still doesn't get cold. I noticed that when under the hood I heard the compressor engaging and disengaging like as if it had a low charge. The interesting however is that when the compressor kicks off it appears to discharge a puff smoke. I am assuming that it is letting off coolant. I am just trying see if it is an easy fix or if it is the compressor. Please help!

something is clogged up, i had an accord in my shop where the dryer unit on built into the condensor broke internally and the dessicant material (looks like fine gravel) got spread into the system and blocked the high side lines, this caused the freon pressure to skyrocket right at the compressor and the loud noise when the compressor kicks on and off is the safety valve in the bottom releasing the excess pressure so the system doesn't explode. Get this to a certified a/c tech so they can hook up some guages and see what's going on.
