Hi Everyone, This is my first post. I need some help with my 2003 3.2 TL


I Purchased this car last year and 37,000 miles ago. At first it shifted fine but in a month or so I started getting a shutter under light acceleration. It feels like slippage and it sounds like a fan blade hitting plastic. If I shift to D4 it goes away. At speed and under throttle there is no problem in D5 and it downshifts fine.


What could the problem be ? I think it may be the torque convertor not fully locking up but I am not a transmission expert. I do not know if the transmission has ever been rebuilt. I have 127,000 miles on it now and I have changed the trans fluid three times and it is very light pink. It also has a new trans mount. The only issue I have is D5 under light acceleration. Please help.
