I have a 2003 CL type-S and I just gave it a much needed bath. After washing down the car it keeps going into limp mode and shutting off when driving only. I have read some other threads about this problem and I am trying to find out exactly where the TDC sensor is. The guys at my local parts store couldn't find a TDC sensor for this car only a CPS. Any help would be great.

I think it uses the cam pos. sens. for TDC. and there's 2 cam sensors (a&b). and i think they're both under t-belt cover

 

Thats why i never power wash engine bay when engine is cold.

 

Well woke up this morning and car is not throwing the code. I guess it had time to dry out.

 

Water in the air induction system will do that
