Whats up with RDX owners?

Yes they are different. There are two on the 6MT, one on the timing belt side and another mounted on the transmission housing. Which one do you need to replace?

That sensor is located underneath the lower timing belt cover. Get a shop manual, Im not going to give you instructions if I might get a detail wrong and have you screw up your car.

Was the problem fixed when you got the new sensor? My car just started doing that today, it won't revv past 2k. So i'm on the hwy and everything i pass me. Also, can someone tell me why is there such a huge price gap for the 6spd manual? Is it because there's two crank position sensors?

I've replaced the plugs with ngk iridium oe, and eBay coil packs recently.
Also I have replaced the primary crank sensor under the timing cover about 5k ago with the oem Honda part, have the secondary crank sensor for the transmission housing just having problems locating the part!
Please help!

would a bad crank position sensor cause a misfire code on all 6 cyl? I have 2003 cl-s 6mt (190,000 miles) and have replaced spark plugs and coils, EGR valve, plenum gasket, throttle body gasket, and power steering pump. It needs a valve adjustment as well, which is what my buddy thinks it is, but I'm thinking of either a crank position sensor or maybe a fuel pump. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated. (yes I should have done the valve adjustment while I was already in there but I was hoping each time the other fix would do the trick). I love this car but this misfire is making me go insane.
PS I just bought this car and I am brand new to this website so if I'm in the wrong place sorry.

Have you considered the fuel injectors? They might be slightly worn after 190K.
In addition, if it is a six-speed, with an unknown history to you because you just purchased it, also consider bent valves from a possible over-rev situation.
All the threads I've seen here, in the past, when either crank sensor is bad usually the ECM sets a P0336 Crankshaft Position Sensor A, located behind the crank pulley, and Codes P0385,P0386 in regards to Crankshaft Position Sensor B, which is located on the Transmission Bell Housing.
