2001 Acura CL type S throttle response issues.

So when I first start up the car, and maybe 5 minutes after, my throttle response from the pedal is wierd.

I step on it to get going, it does nothing, then jerked forward, this continues for a while when I first started driving, usually until I get up to good speed or punch it hard, but lately that hasn't been working either.

Anyone else have this problem? What is this?

Sounds like you are experiencing cold slippage in your auto trans. Do a 3x3 fluid flush, change the pressure sensors and adjust the A-B solenoid (Sonnex adjustment tool). If you are hard on the gas while the trans fluid is cold your gonna kill it quick! The fluid needs to be up to operating temp. I assumed from your description that you are auto. How many miles are on the car?

I got about 210K out of my original trans and 70K of it was with a 3.5 and SC. Do the maintenance items I posted above and see where you are at.
