105k miles or 7yrs Major Service/Timing Belt

My car only has 61k miles but in August will be 7yrs. The car is driven in Los Angeles and not classified as harsh conditons. The first 3 years the car was only driven 1800 miles and sat in the garage most of the time. In Nov. 2006 I got the car and began to drive it normally. My question is, is it necessary to do the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, etc major service. I stay up on oil changes and standard maintance. I am trying a new service garage and the tech claims there is no way to inspect the timing belt and that Acura says 105k or 7yrs and therefore even though you have extremely low miles the 7yr mark is used in this case. I'm having a hard time accepting that I should do the belt now and can't put it off for a year or two or another 20-30k miles.
Your thoughts.

Go to another garage.

Pull the front t-belt cover off and look at the belt. Personally though, its 7 years. Id rather be safe then sorry. Its not just the belt that is the big issue though. The waterpump can fail, as can the tensioner. Those two things you can inspect until its taken apart. When they fail it happens instantaneously, and nine times out of ten you will damage the motor.

I know thats worst case scenario, but it can happen. A timing belt job is cheaper then a new motor

you could probably wait and it would be okay but i would definately change it before the time it take you to hit 105k, which is probably another 3 years or so.
