03cls6 clutch and flywheel replacement

Hey everyone, Im relatively new to the site and have been searching for days now and still have not found a diy on clutch replacement for the cls6. Can someone point me in the right direction??? I have parts just sitting on the doorstep waiting to be installed. Any kind of help would be awsome. Thanks in advance!

Its sort of a major undertaking. If you are looking for a dyi, you may be better off taking it to a shop. If don't have an ability lift your car and drop the tranny you have no shot. Even if you do, there is quite a bit that can go wrong after the installation if its not done properly, so you may be better off chocking up that 500 bucks. Last thing you want is to hear clutch chatter on your first drive and have no idea if you fed something up.

No one has posted one I know of for a CLS. You can ask on the TL side, the install should be similar on an TL & accord.

I'm doing mine within the next 2 weeks or so. I have access to Acura info so I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey i saw your CL on ebay a while back! Looks nice!

Yeah, once again, there isn't a DIY on this. Your better off taking it to the dealer or a shop.

Ok everyone, so I paid to have a local mechanic replace my clutch and flywheel and got my car back in worse condition than it originally was . I was having it replaced originally because of a slight vibration when engaging gears, but as it turns out MY CLUTCH STILL HAD THE GROOVES IN THE DISC, pressure plate spic and span. FLYWHEEL WITH NO WARPS AND VERY VERY MINIMAL MARKS! so talk about pissed! 1000 dollars down the drain. But after I got my car back, it now has TERRIBLE torque steer. if i am cruising at a set speed and foot off the gas, the steering wheel is straight and doesnt pull, when i give it gas, the car pulls hard to the right or to the left. Its random which side it pulls to when giving it gas. When I take the my foot back off the gas, then the car stops pulling and straigtens out again! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

It does but the only thing messed up in the accident was the subframe, which was replaced. And also it didnt have any problems before the install.
