Hey everyone- new guy here. Just bought an 03 cl-s with the 6mt. Absolutely love the car but it does have a little quirk-which seems fairly common- that it doesn't like going into reverse. I can ease the clutch out and gently pop it in or go from another gear into reverse and it's fine. But is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks!

 

Reverse doesnt have a synchro, so you will always have a bit of resistance. I put it into 3rd before reverse. Damn near all Honda transmissions do this.

 

I always go to first gear then reverse its a Honda thing I have owned 5 previous ones and always do the same, no problems going into reverse from 1st gear.
